Hi! I’m Amanda! I am a certified holistic health coach, wife, mom, and lover of all things related to the health and wellness world.
In my early 20’s, I got extremely ill after developing Epstein Barr and then POTS. This ultimately wreaked havoc on my immune system, which caused me to be in a constant state of fight or flight, leaving me feeling anxious, depressed, dizzy, nauseas, brain fogged, fatigued, and the list goes on and on.
This ultimately led me down a 16 year long health journey towards the path to healing. I learned how to create a healthy lifestyle and to use food as medicine as part of my healing!
One of the things you will discover on this blog is my passion for baking. Recreating traditional recipes and turning them into more healthy- nutrient dense versions, is what I love to do!
I want people to know that eating well and maintaining a healthy lifestyle does not have to be boring, bland or even complicated! I assure you that there is always a cleaner and simpler alternative out there!
My goal and desires are to reach as many people as possible through sharing healthy recipes, tips and the cleanest brands on the market to choose from. If you are coming here to find recommendations, please know I’ve done my research and only will share things I 100% stand behind.
Cooking for you and your family doesn’t have to be difficult. I’ve spent the last several years diving into all sorts of recipes for myself, my husband and my now 4 year old. Not only do I focus on using REAL foods, but the recipes are also REAL DELICIOUS, so you can be proud of what you make.
