I am so excited to share with you this Oat Flour German Pancake Recipe! It is both delicious and super easy to make (WIN WIN)! All you have to do is throw your ingredients into a high speed blender, pour into your glass baking dish and bake!

Oh and have I mentioned that this recipe only requires 6 simple ingredients to make it, that is it? I mean does it get any better than that?

These pancakes truly make the perfect breakfast, especially if you are feeding a group of people or if you’re like me and you like to meal prep and have some already made breakfast ready to eat throughout your week!

Another perk is that they are gluten-free and refined-sugar-free. We used organic gluten- free oat flour instead of white/wheat flour and it also has no refined-sugar in it either. We also used a homemade nut milk instead of cows milk, which is slightly different from the traditional German Pancake Recipe, but I assure you these are just as delicious!

The 6 ingredients you will need to make this recipe are:

  • grass-fed butter
  • organic gluten-free oat flour (can blend organic rolled oats into oat flour)
  • Himalayan salt
  • cashew milk (or non dairy milk of choice)
  • 6 pasture-raised eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Toppings:

  • Pure Maple Syrup
  • Fresh Berries
  • Chopped Pecans

Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp grass-fed butter
  • 1 cup gluten free oat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • 1 cup cashew milk (or non dairy milk of choice)
  • 6 pasture-raised eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Toppings:

  • Pure Maple Syrup
  • Fresh Berries
  • Chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees .
  2. Place the butter in a glass 9X13-inch baking dish and put the pan in the oven while it preheats (keep an eye on the dish so the butter doesn’t burn; take it out when the butter is melted).
  3. Place your cashew milk, 6 eggs, oat flour, salt, and cinnamon in your blender and blend until just combined. You do not want to over-blend. *If you don’t have oat flour, you can blend 1 cup of rolled oats in your high speed blender for a minutes until you have a fine oat flour consistency. *
  4. Pour your batter into your baking dish, swirling it in a figure 8 pattern, (this helps you achieve German style pancakes)
  5. Bake for 20-25 mins until it starts to brown.
  6. Serve immediately and top with your toppings of choice!
  7. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. You can reheat them in your toaster oven! .
