They are a great snack option for both children and adults, which is another reason I try to make these so often. They have really become a hit with both my toddler and my husband, and because they are so simple to make, I make sure to have them regularly stocked.
The ingredients you will need to make these delicious and nutritious oat balls are:
- organic gluten free rolled oats
- ground flax
- chia seeds/hemp seeds
- cacao powder
- natural creamy almond butter
- raw honey
- dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
- collagen peptides (optional)

1 cup organic gluten free rolled oats
1 tbsp ground flax
1 tbsp chia seeds/hemp seeds
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp collagen peptides (optional)
1/2 c natural creamy almond butter
1/4 cup raw honey
Handful of dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
In a medium bowl, mix all of your dry ingredients together (except your chocolate chips). Add in your almond butter, and honey and mix until well combined. *Add more honey or a few sprinkles of water if your dough is dry* Pour in your chocolate chips. Roll your dough into balls and store in a sealed glass container in the fridge.
